Giacomo Di Girolamo, 32 years old, is the chief editor of www.marsala.it, the most popular news website in western Sicily. He’s the station manager at RMC 101, a radio station leader in the province of Trapani. He leads a talk show “Il Volatore” since 2001 with interviewes, reportages about politics and economics themes. He writes his reportages in a lots of Italian magazines (Sole24ore, Left). He organizes many cultural events with his staff , the most important are: “Bonton” (since 2005), “L’estate dell’antiracket “ (2009), “Stragusto” (2009). He works in public istitutional comunication, in particular with the Common of Pantelleria.
He won the “Libero Grassi Prize” in 2006.
He’s publishing the book “Non più mille. Lo sbarco di Garibaldi a Marsala. Storia di un monumento mancato, di una memoria negata”.
